Our Volunteers
TRC relies on its volunteers. Our volunteers are a vital part of our program. Without them, our students do not ride. Our volunteers are trained under the direct guidance of a NARHA-certified instructor. Ranging in age from 13 to beyond, TRC has been blessed with its many volunteers. They serve our horses and students in a variety of tasks. Some of our volunteers assist with cleaning tack, the horse stalls, and our arena. Others serve as sidewalkers when our students are on horseback. No matter the task, our volunteers have consistently provided us with the support needed to serve our students and love our horses.
To ensure that our volunteers are properly trained, TRC holds training clinics at least every two months. If you are passionate about serving the needs of those with disabilities and have a passion for horses, we encourage you to contact us. TRC is always looking for dedicated and committed volunteers to serve.
So, come and join our incredible team of volunteers who come to us from all walks of life. Yet, they each hold something in common: children, horses, and TRC. We look forward to hearing from you!
